KD Sisterhood Supper With Our Gamma Beta Collegians
The evening of Feburary 18, 2018 was really special! What a wonderful opportunity it was to participate in our KD Sisterhood Supper with the Gamma Beta collegians at University of North Texas!
It was fun to get to know our sisters at UNT so much better!. Especially when we got to the "Valentine's icebreaker" after dinner, when the collegians shared stories about best dates. worst dates and ideal dates. And we shared our own!!! We laughed a lot! Sometimes, I even gasped at the worst date scenarios (while laughing and thinking "Oh my"). Overall, we got to know all of our KD sisters a little better.
A special thank-you to Missy and Kerri for your efforts with coordinating the catering and Valentine's decorations; to Vanessa for working with the chapter president on a date for RPKDAC to host the dinner; to Gretchen for the beautiful and amazing Kappa Delta cake and pearl gifts; and to Sarita and Margie for bringing study snacks for the collegians to enjoy; and to Jeff for helping with set-up and photos. Also thanks to Jen and Lisa, we appreciate your support in designating the funds for such a wonderful event.
Save the date for Saturday, April 21 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m when the Gamma Beta chapter president and Alumnae Relations chair will be our guests at our RPKDAC New Officer Installation & Salad Luncheon in Plano. This will be an opportunity for Kiersten to share more about the Gamma Beta chapter and ways that we can continue to support them. Plus, we'll be presenting a beautiful Kappa Delta mosaic artwork piece (created by Don) to the chapter and a Spring finals week goody basket for the collegians.
